Putin ain't the kind of limp leader the West admires: Putin will send in troops wherever ethnic Russians are under threat, à la Transnistria, Chechnya, Georgia, or where USA has illegally invaded, as in Syria. OP asked "Who needs Comedy Central when you have Russia?", and there was NO mention of the fact that the fighting is NOT part of what is so funny. Russia is not a funny topic these days, unless you are heartless. And Russia threatening retaliation is only funny to those who have not been massacred by Russia's 2 and half years of retaliation for attacks on ethnic Russians in Donbass. Keep laughing, but I sincerely wish you would grow up and see the seriousness of all this, child.

Yep, following the brilliant idea of the Azov battalion to shell its own citizens, Russia decided to help the ethnic Russians of the Donbass fight back. Sounds fair to me. what's wrong with that? Just implement Minsk 2 and the autonomy of the Donbass would have worked fine for all parties.

Not one single Ukrainian soldier died defending "his territory", for the simple reason that the Donbass was no longer Ukraine, but 2 independent republics that had broken away from Ukraine following the anti constitutional coup in Kiev. Learn the basics. I wish you would start to understand how this really started. You keep telling others to grow up, but your take on it is childish and simplistic in the extreme. meanwhile, you cheerlead for Zelensky every day that he shoves another thousand cannon fodder into the Russian meatgrinder. @bonnie7898 I'm a teacher of many languages. I was not in Donbass for a few months. I was in Vinnytsia for 4 months in 2018. I left when I was told by the boss that Russian was not to be used in the classroom, even though all students had agreed it was good to use Russian as the lingua franca for ESL and Spanish classes. I heard a lot of Ukrainians give all kinds of accounts about what was happening in their country, and I heard both sides. I still have Ukrainian students on line, and quite a few are absolutely disgusted by what Zelensky has done. No narrative was swallowed. The facts and the background were checked VERY carefully. Narrative swallowing would be what you did.

Given that "very full" is a contradiction in terms, it is ironic that someone implying something is "full" is in fact saying that it isn't. Sarcasm is intentionally saying one thing to imply the opposite. No need to wonder about the accounts being sympathetic to Russia. It would only be "double standard logic" if USA had attacked Pyongyang and Russia shouted "that's not fair". That hasn't happened. Russia is saying "USA supplied the missiles and satellite technology, so USA should expect to be targeted". and USA is more than welcome to do the same to N Korea, if USA wants a full scale nuclear war. Time to choose what you want, Biden.
