Soledar in itself is of little importance. What is important is, we are told, Russian morale has been low for months, Russia is running out of weapons, sanctions on Russia are crippling it, Russia is incompetent, yet against Ukraine's finest, Russia is now advancing. That is where this news is important. Either the media were lying, or Ukraine's forces are weaker than Russia's.

@supertuscans9512 only a few people in the Kremlin know the Russian death toll. That wouldn't include you, so you can discard your faux crystal ball. what tells you all you need to know is that Ukraine closed its borders for all men that meet the mobilization criteria from Day One! Now you tell me, which side is more desperate to replenish its losses?

@ingai4420 the world saw NATO in Kabul in 2021 when the sandal wearing goat herders, the Taliban, killed 13, seized millions of dollars worth of NATO equipment, and kicked NATO out of the airport with NATO in absolute panic! NATO is a paper tiger. how is NATO's electric tanks project going?:)

@WHS_reviews semi retired old British guys living in France like me don't need any rubles for speaking our mind. However, NATO trolls need some pennies these days, given the rampant inflation they face and the fuel poverty hitting their sinking ship of an economy.

Let this sink in...in 2021 a bunch of sandal wearing goat herders strolled into Kabul, killed 13 US soldiers, seized all the weaponry abandoned by NATO, and kicked NATO out of Afghanistan in absolute panic and mayhem. Let this sink in....Russia has hypersonic missiles and its finest weaponry it hasn't even turned to yet, in case its needed against NATO, Then again, all Russia needs to do is call on the Taliban to win the day, if needed.

They failed to do that. @ingai4420 after 20 years of achieving nothing, the USA was kicked out, lost 13 of its own, and showed what a disorganized bunch of fools they are. leaving millions of dollars worth of equipment to the taliban is incompetence and negligence in the extreme. total loss. US Intelligence, "it will take the Taliban 90 days to take Kabul" reality = 90 hours! you have a bunch of fools in charge of NATO and it shows. No one is saying afghanistan is a nice place or that afghanistan won. the world saw how useless and pathetic NATO is at doing something simple like a withdrawal.
