  1. as always with DW, the key element of the story is missing. Russia has requested that documentation state CLEARLY that the transfer of the turbine to Russia will NOT be breaking sanctions. This is of great importance, as any legal action resulting from trade during these sanctions will need written exemptions, not just Scholz saying "yeah, this one time is ok". Why is Germany stalling on a written declaration?

  2. "what a big matter this is"...yep, so BIG it took Germany and Canada WEEKS to sort out the rights and wrongs of it. Why expect Russia not to take WEEKS to sort out the rights and wrongs with this?

  3.  @vladimirkorobkin510  "Russia bad, Ukraine good" is always the narrative with DW. They will turn any story to make Russia look bad, or Ukraine look good. It is childish and pathetic.

  4.  @kubyoindiya3269  you are right, I think. Germany very aware it could be seen as violating the sanctions by creating just one exemption for itself, when others have abided strictly be EVERY sanction

  5. Germany, if this is a big deal, drop the sanctions, open up Nordstream 2, or give the Russians the written exemption statement they demand. otherwise quit whining and keep suffering with your cold showers and energy rationing.
