Comments by "duncan smith" (@duncansmith7562) on "Petro Poroshenko on what needs to happen to end the war in Ukraine | DW News" video.
Poroshenko is so smart he refused to implement the Minsk Agreements and that has now resulted in the destruction of his country. really smart guy.

what a load of bla bla bla to say "yes, I agree that thousands more Ukrainian cannon fodder should die in a futile stand in a war already lost"

nothing stopping you giving your very last penny to Zelenski, who will gratefully redecorate his Italian villa with what you send him.

and Ukraine has so many men and weapons on hand it doesn't even have to ask NATO for a thing!

@solconcordia4315 Read point 6 of the Budapest Memorandum and then tell me which side refused to honor point 6. "will soon result in the destruction of his country" = wishful thinking. the destruction of Ukraine is reality.
2
@solconcordia4315 why do you think the Budapest Memorandum is a "memorandum" and not an "agreement" or "treaty"
2
@solconcordia4315 what we need are some straight answers from you, otherwise you reveal yourself as dishonest

yawn. game changer himars is old news. didn't prevent Soledar, didn't prevent Bakhmut, the convicts and mercenaries don't stay awake worrying about himars any more. bring on the next game changer dud.

@saba1030 Many people are huge fans of Peter the Great. He was the Russian who preached learning from European inventions and technologies! Yes, Peter the Great, like all leaders of his day, waged war. What is wrong with identifying with Peter the Great over other warmongers of their day, like George Washington?
1
@solconcordia4315 so your answer to the Budapest Memorandum question about point 6, and what is the difference between a memorandum and a treaty is........Otto von Bismarck says Russians can't be trusted! I think we see the infantile level of thought at play here.
1
@saba1030 only a "hint" to Western countries in your mind. To my mind it is 100% clear he is celebrating the achievements of a truly enlightened leader. sounds like you are paranoid. talking about what nobody wants these days, do people want power hungry autocrats like Poroshenko and Zelensky to shell the Donbass incessantly to compel the Ukrainians there to remain part of the Kiev autocracy? Or do you think people want deals like the Minsk Agreements to be implemented in peace and cooperation?

@gregowski_pl happy for you to point out what I said that is not factual...but that would demand of you some knowledge and certainty. hmmm, tough one for you.
1
@gregowski_pl not even the mothers of the teenage Ukrainians sent to the Bakhmut front lines where life expectancy is now down to one day
1
@gregowski_pl If you actually watched some Russian state television you would actually learn some truths, like the Ghost of Kiev was a lie! Why do you think Russian state tv has been banned from the West? Western sheep too incapable of distinguishing fact from opinion?

@onemustlivefree Russia is buying weapons because it is fighting a war and has allies happy to sell weapons at a great price. Simple as that. Great powers aren't necessarily those that produce everything they need. Great powers ally with others to increase their strength.
