  1. stop the fighting and then talk peace? Nah, Russia fell for that old chestnut back with the Minsk Agreements. this time Putin may talk peace but only WHILE his war machine continues to demilitarize (wipe out the troops and weapons) Ukraine. Once bitten, twice shy.

  2. negotiated settlement? what? while Ukraine/NATO is obviously winning so convincingly? makes no sense! Ukraine/NATO need to keep fighting until ALL Ukrainian men are dead, THEN negotiate from a position of strength.

The West miscalculated completely. sanctions failed, isolating Russia failed, NATO weapons are not superior, demoralized convicts keep defeating Ukronazi NATO trained battalions, NATO failed in supplying enough weapons. Reality is Ukraine/NATO can't win, so...option 1, lose 20% of territory but survive, or option 2, lose everything and get totally destroyed.
