  1. It's a Russian company, Rozatom, that controls uranium production from Kazakhstan. Russia and China are gradually gaining a stranglehold on uranium and nuclear fuel supply to the world. The complacent West may well shrug and say "we have huge stocks, we are fine" but, for example, France would suffer horrendously if the global price of uranium sky rocketed.   2. Russia and Wagner, China too, are so much more popular in Africa than the West. Understandably so. The whole Western idea of isolating Russia, globally, has backfired as the Global South sees what a bunch of hypocritical fools Western leaders are.
