Mathias getting more and more tongue toed with every bizarre explanation he has to fabricate to defend his beloved Ukraine.

So my question is why does Western MSM, e.g. BBC, decide to run with the headline "Russia shells nuclear power plant"? Evidence that the journalistic guideline is firmly "Russia bad, Ukraine good", which is absurd. It is absurd to think "it serves Russia's purpose to shell its own troops ". Pure nonsense. The power most responsible for absolutely destroying European security would be NATO, with its relentless expansion and refusal to engage with Russia on security matters. Russia has run nuclear power plants for decades. it has no need for any international body to lecture Russia on security. Again, your assumption that some Western backed international body can hector and lecture others on what's best exemplifies why most of the world has turned against the West and backs Russia. Read it and weep.
