  1. Given that sanctions haven't managed to effect a change of behavior in Venezuela, nor Iran, nor Russia for that matter, it is only a deluded West that still believes in sanctions. Even now, the West is happy to import Russian energy and pay in rubles. Even happier to import Russian energy via India and other third parties. The childish mentality of the Western leaders has engineered more suffering and misery in the West than they have in Russia. But then again, the West still believes in the Ghost of Kiev and the heroes of Snake Island, and that Ukraine is winning, so the fantasies imagined by the West keep rolling on.
