@protagonist9716 EU is still buying Russian oil. Remember, as long as EU refined oil products have one drop of NON Russian oil, such blended oil can be imported. Russian energy revenues have risen beautifully. It's the West that is suffering.

@citronski NATO has not grown by 2 countries. On the contrary, both Turkey and Hungary act as though they are much closer to Russia than to NATO. Putin is very popular with the Russian people. Boris Johnson, Mario Draghi, Jacinda Ardern, Olav Scholz, Liz Truss not looking so popular now

The Taliban are having a great laugh at any sentence with "NATO" and "great" in it.

@protagonist9716 so true. OPEC is CLEARLY working with Russia. you only had to look at the smirk on MBS's face when he told Biden where to go, in Riyadh. USA has really blundered big time. BEGGING Venezuela and Iran to help the US out...ha ha, now THAT is desperate!
2
@citronski Ukraine attacked Donbass first, in 2014. Why do you start retelling the story in the middle of the book?
2
@scepticalwalker3984 which traders? when Russian exports are sold all over the world, they are paid for in rubles, or in another currency and exchanged for rubles. how is that a currency that is not "free-trading"?
2
@citronski ahhh, so there is no compulsion in Ukraine to fight. that's why Ukraine sealed its borders to all fighting age men at the beginning of the war, because it is all voluntary. and thousands of Russian men left Russia, freely, because Russia compels its men to fight. makes sense.
2
"everyone here wants to end this war" not true. the aim, according to Lloyd Austin, is to "weaken Russia". a LOT more fighting and dying has to happen for Russia to be truly weakened! Keep on fighting, Ukraine. NATO needs SOMEONE to die for their "weaken Russia" aims!
1
wow, in less than a year Russia has demilitarized both Ukraine and NATO, bankrupted Ukraine, and found that convicts and mercenaries can beat the Ukronazis on the front lines. Great year for Russia.

@robmckrill3134 it was during this "retreat" that Ukraine lost all its reserves! why do you think Ukraine is now begging for tanks and ammo so desperately? where did all their tanks go?:)
1
@robmckrill3134 how wrong you are. the West will have to completely restructure its whole munitions production to ever match Russia. it would take years and years of planning, training, investment, infrastructure enhancement. missile production is extremely technical and cannot be switched on and off...hence, Putin started 8 years ago to plan for this conflict.

@alvaro701 if Russia's "best customer" is so inept it cannot even protect its own undersea pipeline from its own ally, then Russia made a good choice to look elsewhere. The rest of the globe is more than happy to work with and trade with Russia.
1
@rutgerb Russia has no timeline when fighting wars. your "3 day war" lie is just a Western fabrication. just like "Ghost of Kiev".

@Crashed131963 would we get involved if USA invaded Afghanistan?
1
@xcitemex6353 why 2016?
