  11.  @dougcoombes8497  and now the harsh truth. 1) if |Ukraine has 7 million young fit men available, why was the 50 yr old cousin of one of my Ukrainian students forced to enlist? a man who can barely lift anything such are his back injuries. 2) Ukraine HAD a reserve of combat veterans. Most are now dead. 3) Adding brigades manned by 16 year olds and 50 year old invalids will not defeat the Chechens and Wagners. dream on. 4) Expansion of ammo stocks in NATO is NOT happening! NO orders have been received by contractors! NONE! Only now, 355 days after it was obvious, has the alarm been raised. Ukraine burns through ammo faster than NATO can produce it (the opposite of Russia). Too late to try to ramp up production to ever match Russia. 5) US making 3000 shells a day? Ukraine fires 5000 a day. Russia fires 50,000! you make my point for me!

  13.  @cloudpoint0  so Russia is advancing, incrementally, on all fronts, yet is in its last death gasps? curious conclusion you make. my question wasn't how many bridges over the Dnipro are intact now, but congratulations on being able to count up to 17. my question was how many bridges WILL be STILL intact when the fearsome NATO Leopard ONEs roll up to the Dnipro? Do you assume all 17 will still be intact? why? Do you assume Russia has no capability to destroy bridges?

  15.  @The-Real-Ando  to me, Ukraine was handed the territory. it didn't take anything! every time Ukraine and Russia fight toe to toe, street by street, Russia wins. every time. Russia needed more men to hold its extensive front line, and it now has those men, and more. yet you assume Ukraine, recruiting teenagers and pensioners, with NATO ammo running out, can mount an offensive? really? You are deluded. If Ukrainians were so motivated to fight, how come the convicts and drunken mercenaries defeated them in Soledar and are currently defeating them in Bakhmut? Motivation is VERY high in the Russian forces. VERY. Putin is very popular. don't be fooled. Russian capacity to produce armaments far exceeds NATO's. USA cannot produce in one day what Ukraine uses in one day. but Russia produces 8 times that! you really must do some more homework and start doubting the Western MSM. For ten months we have heard that Russia is running out of ammo. Suddenly, that lie has stopped, and the truth that NATO is out of munitions is being broadcast. get ready for a lot more harsh realities to be announced soon.

  18.  @dougcoombes8497  as I said, the cousin of my Ukrainian student, aged 50, so incapacitated he can barely lift anything of any weight, recruited and off for immediate training! The truth of Ukraine today is truly shocking and a disgrace. Those of us who have lived and worked in Ukraine are not surprised. Have you lived and worked in Ukraine, dear Doug?

  20.  @tomhenry897  Russia doesn't have total control of the air, but it has far greater control than NATO/Ukraine. Part of the idea of bringing down the power grid every two weeks is to see how Ukraine air defences suffer. One big demolition of Ukraine's power grid may convince Russia it has enough control of the air to take some losses but destroy every tank/armoured vehicle and bridge it can.
