@aylbdrmadison1051 facts hurt, eh? it's the fossil fuel industry that has reduced poverty globally. if you understood how the world worked, you would appreciate how fossil fuels have benefitted everyone immeasurably.

the fossil fuel industry does an absolutely amazing job at providing us with comfortable lives. they deserve every penny they can get.

@nvelsen1975 even if there were subsidies, energy companies have enormous government taxes imposed on their products AND have to pay business taxes, so governments are taking more than they are giving to fossil fuel companies.

@stephenkeen6044 extra CO2 is not a problem. it is greening the planet nicely and has a minuscule effect as a greenhouse gas.

@liberalduh9807 climates are always changing. if our climate is currently going through a warming trend, then that's fine, on the whole. The extra CO2 is greening the planet nicely.

@amckittrick7951 and therein lies the problem. if you are a group that is "forcing the issue", democracy has ceased. With democracy, you vote in representatives that decide these issues, and opposition to government policy is allowed through peaceful protest, but forcing your views to the extent of hurting the lives of others ain't democracy. the public road is open to the public, not to be blocked by a bunch of spoilt deluded brats. why aren't you angry?
