Comments by "duncan smith" (@duncansmith7562) on "Russia expands attacks on Ukraine's civilian infrastructure | DW News" video.
Conspicuous by its absence of course, is any mention that the Russian attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure are aimed at stopping Ukrainian troop and weapons movements (no electricity = no trains = no troop/weapons movements, + Rising, rushing Ingulets river = Ukrainian pontoon bridges destroyed cutting off their pocket of troops on the river's eastern bank). DW refuse to analyze military impacts on infrastructure damage, hence Military Summary Channel would be recommended viewing

@Nurg1982 in war, everything is fair game, that's war. if the West wants to attack Russia and push us all closer to Nuclear war, that would be the West's decision.

@mst7155 On the contrary, Putin is no admirer of the USSR, in fact he blames the Soviets for creating Ukraine in the first place! Putin is a fan of Russia, not USSR! and yes, if NATO want to escalate the war, they should provide Ukraine with all it needs to hit deep into Russia. If the aim is to weaken Russia directly, that would be the way to go. It may result in a nuclear holocaust, but that would be NATO's gamble. Or they could just resume peace talks that they were party to in Istanbul back in March.

@anthonychin1873 sanctions don't work and Russia withdrew from Kharkov oblast. what's your point? are you the one that said a shortage of components in Russia is evidence that sanctions are working? components, like anything, can be imported from third countries.
1
@anthonychin1873 not true. I never said that only the West has inflation, I guess English comprehension is not your forte! I said the inflation RATE in Russia is going down, prices are decreasing. However, in the West, inflation is rising, and quite dramatically, Got a problem with that fact, have you?

@anthonychin1873 if sanctions do work, how many thousand more Ukrainian boys have to die before the sanctions work and Russia' is unable to fund its war?
1
@anthonychin1873 what more do you want? The aim of sanctions is to change the policy or behavior of a government. Sanctions on Cuba, Venezuela, Iran and now Russia have changed nothing in the policy or behavior of those countries QED

@anthonychin1873 you are the confused one. I know very well that almost everywhere in the world has inflation, but what is curious to me is that the rate of inflation is falling in Russia and rising in the West, yet more evidence that sanctions don't work or that sanctions can work in reverse. this is such a hard concept for you to grasp, right?
1
@anthonychin1873 so you agree that inflation is falling in Russia? So now we agree, Western sanctions are hurting the West more than they are hurting Russia! Welcome, finally, to the Club of Common Sense!
