key question DW never asks Mike Martin. "you say Russia has had many losses. how would you know the numbers exactly? and in comparison to Ukraine's losses, tell us how you are so sure Russia has lost more troops"

yep, really hard to understand why the Russian speaking family, waiting to be liberated by Russian troops, won't move away to somewhere like Kiev where they will be treated like second class citizens. no idea why the lady didn't want to speak her mind to DW with Ukrainian soldiers next to her.

@fritzraake22 attacking side loses 3 times more? sure about that? so when USA attacked Iraq, USA lost 3 times more than the Iraqis? sure?

@bramposthumus9300 then the 3 to 1 rule is not a rule if everything depends on the context and the war! thanks, so called "Bram", for agreeing with me.
1
@misterwise1742 so let's hammer down this rule once and for all. The 3:1 ratio ONLY applies when there is no air superiority, right? any more exceptions to the rule you want to consider, before I hammer you with more examples of how this "rule" is nonsense?

@d.b.2215 and doesn't need it outside of the territories it controls. obviously.
1
@electronspark6740 good to see you admit that Russian speaking Ukrainians are indeed treated like second class citizens in Kiev. Now you understand their separation from Kiev in 2014 and their determination to be in Russia henceforth. spoken like a true DPR patriot! thanks you sir. so, i guess you trashed that portrait of Bandera you used to have by your bedside?

@buddy1155 not with Ukrainian troops looking over her shoulder 24/7. get real. she is held hostage.
1
@buddy1155 it can be both. Ukrainians want her away, but in Ukrainian controlled territory. given she chooses not to relocate within Ukrainian controlled territory, the troops are watching her 24/7, a hostage, under suspicion of being pro Russian. grasp reality.

@paulgilbert9346 and plenty don't. the problem is the ones like Zelensky, who do, have decided to compel the ones that don't to follow their orders and diktats, and the free spirit of the Russian speakers who refuse to conform has led to this war. better to just respect the wishes of the other side. let them take their Donbass and become part of Russia. what's the big deal?
1
@electronspark6740 "even if" concedes the possibility. i confirm that possibility is reality. you are learning.
1
@gilh3947 i am teaching you the reality of Ukraine. keep reading and thinking

Mike Martin is such a fool. why would Russia want to take Bakhmut? what a ridiculous assumption! Does he know what a cauldron is?
1
@harmless6813 Bakhmut has been a cauldron for quite some time, and Zelensky has obliged the Wagners by pouring in troops that then get trapped and massacred. same playbook as used in Syria, works a treat every time. learn the basics.
