Lloyd Austin told us, the aim is to weaken Russia. while Ukraine is happy to fight to the last Ukrainian, ending the war is of no interest to NATO. The only thing that matters is to weaken Russia. Weirdly, Russia is getting stronger as we do near an end to the war, so NATO will see both a stronger Russia AND the death of the last Ukrainian.
