@doomoo5365 Ukraine shouldn't. Ukraine SHOULD have implemented the Minsk Accords, which would have awarded autonomy to the Donbass, but both Poroshenko and Zelensky refused to do so. why? BTW, one good reason for allowing the Donbass region to become independent states is because the majority there want to be independent. When you say Chechnya wanted independence from Russia, would that include the Chechens currently fighting for, um, Russia?

Only a total fool would ever think Ukraine, with or without NATO weapons, could beat Russia in a ground war. Only the deluded keep pretending Ukraine is winning. stupidity.

@yabutmaybenot.6433 I checked 3 things regarding the Minsk accords. 1) who signed it 2) what it states about autonomy in the Donbass and 3) the radio broadcast made by Poroshenko recently where he explains why he refused to implement the accords (it was just a mechanism for stalling for time while Ukraine built up its military and economy, he said). If the Minsk accords is nothing but a list of demands from Putin, why did all parties present sign it? No lies now..just the truth!

@vsiegel opinion polls. evidence people are paid by Russia to be pro Russian? you can send me the link for your evidence. I don't think Russians are evil at all. War has not been declared, so from the Russian perspective, it is not a war. As Putin said, you will see the difference if and when war is declared. seems logical enough to me.

@vsiegel welfare systems, government jobs and army are paid by French government here in France, people depend on the money, and they risk losing it if they don't behave as the government expects (ask those who refused the covid shot!...sounds the same as Russia, right? or pretty much everywhere?)..It is not a war because war has not been declared! it is that simple. in war, troops are mobilized, the whole economy is put on a war footing, all government efforts are dedicated to the war. When 80% of Russian troops are not at war, which they are not, it isn't a war. Russia wants to achieve certain objectives in Ukraine, not totally destroy and occupy it. Re read the 5 objectives listed by Putin. Did NATO go to war against Libya? No, certain targets were taken out by air forces...NOT a war! There are degrees of military intervention you know, war is just the highest level.

@vsiegel NATO planes fly over Libya and target certain sites, in a fight to oust Qaddafi...how is that not a war? Well, NATO never called it a war, but according to you it was! And NATO bombing the Chinese embassy in Belgrade..how can that be not a war?

@krnekejdej moreover, many Ukrainians NOT in Donbass didn't want a Ukrainian passport, as they don't feel emotionally attached to a country that has never been a real country.
