they were all given the chance to be evacuated from Kherson under Russian control. those that refused surely knew Russia would shell the city as soon as Ukrainian troops moved in, so why any surprise? Russia set a trap, Ukraine walked into it. so what?

@cetaepsilon exactly! so if Russia kept shelling Chechnya and eventually got it, makes sense that if Russia keeps shelling Kherson it will eventually get it. you have seen the logic behind me repudiating the original post.

@enedifanovaha7713 in war, many things don't go "your way", but Russia is much closer to achieving its 5 objectives than Crimes is to achieving its objectives.
