Every time Ukraine combats Russian forces head to head, Ukraine fails to force anything. Ukraine has a perfect record on that score!   2. honey, "holding that ground" assumes Russia would want that ground! The whole point of the Russian retreat was to focus more manpower on Donbass! Kharkov oblast, in particular Izyum, forms no part of Putin's 5 aims and Izyum became a liability as soon as it was obvious Russia could not advance through Sherwood Forest! Come on ladies, start thinking!

  3. "impressive gains by the Ukrainian army in the last few days"...not at all! The Kharkov offensive was a week ago! In the last few days the Ukrainians have, again, had horrendous casualties and gained no territory, but have seen the Wagner Group surround Bakhmut! Not many gains there, honey!
