  1. in the 19th century, the Crimean War features no mention of Ukraine. The war was against Russia. Putin is right. "Ukraine" only gained a pseudo-identity with the USSR, and it explains why there is so much Russophobia in Ukraine. Ukraine's only claim to an identity is to keep showing that, somehow, it is not Russia.
