  1. it meant we CHOOSE to control our own borders if we so wish, as opposed to having no control of our borders. We just need a government with the wisdom to decide HOW we control our borders. I would suggest goods arriving from the EU don't need to be checked. I would suggest immigrants arriving by dinghy do need to be checked. .

  2. inspecting imports from EU is as stupid as EU inspecting imports from UK. No checks and controls were needed pre Brexit, and none are needed now. bureaucracy gone mad.
