  4.  @dabby249  if we define "his own people" as "fellow Africans" it most certainly is true, and it still happens in places like Mauretania, where slavery still exists. If we define "his own people" as his fellow tribesmen, then maybe not. As was correctly pointed out. Slavery existed in Africa, African on African slavery, for centuries before any European arrived. When Britain enforced the abolition of the slave trade, African rulers resisted it, as they made a handsome income from the slave trade. Do you know anything about African history?
