Yes, if the Western world is to live by its values of non intervention in a sovereign country and respecting the territorial integrity of a sovereign country (the lecture we hear ALL the time about Russia's intervention in Ukraine) then the West should have let Serbia and Kosovo handle its own problems. Can't have your cake and eat it. either you believe military intervention is allowed, or you don't. which one is it? As a non Russian living in the West, I can assure you, Western media treats the sheep in the West as mushrooms.

I would also imagine that Russia will do whatever it can to prevent said tanks reaching the front lines, just as they did with the ex Soviet tanks that already came and got destroyed.   18.  @ryaku5  if you haven't been to Ukraine and Crimea, and spoken to everyday people in their language, you will have no idea of the truth. the "news" stories you read and hear are just opinion pieces. to avoid more war you have to understand what it is that Putin is fighting and why. at the moment, you have no clue what drives Putin, and Russia, to intervene where they intervene. Right now, Latvia is the next country that is doing all it can to be invaded by Russia. and the West has no idea about that. that is the sad thing. Russian Federation always wins wars of attrition, so saying we must "stop" Putin is wishful thinking. if you don't know how to stop Putin, and clearly the West doesn't, then you have to prepare for failure.

  22.  @ryaku5  Supplying Ukraine won't stop Putin. NATO has done nothing but supply Ukraine from day one, and Putin has continued killing the Ukronazi scum by the hundreds every day. How is NATO gonna supply Ukraine with more men once Putin has killed all the fighting age Ukrainian men? 1) why does Russia need more civilians? it already has 3 times as many civilians as Ukraine. 2) reclaim oil and gas fields? Ukraine has no oil/gas fields of note, nor does Chechnya, nor Transnistria, nor Abkhazia, nor South Ossetia. All the places Putin has intervened in have no gas/oil fields! All the places Putin has NOT attacked - Azerbaijan, Kazakstan, Turkmenistan, DO have plenty of oil and gas....but Putin has NOT attacked any of them! So, bang goes that theory, Einstein. 3) Putin doesn't want to "bring back" the USSR because, as Putin has pointed out, it was the USSR that created a lot of these problems, like awarding Crimea to Ukraine when most people in Crimea didn't want that. Putin is no supporter of the USSR. 4) Putin may well want Ukraine as a neutral country as a buffer zone against NATO, and this is a reasonable request. Bet the West wished they had sat down with Putin to discuss this in December when, as per point 6 of the Budapest Memorandum, Putin had requested consultations.

  23.  @ryaku5  the common denominator between Transnistria, South Ossetia, Abkhazia, Chechnya, Crimea and Donbass is not, sad to tell you, oil and gas! The common denominator is an ethnic Russian population that were targeted by nationalist governments and who appealed to Russia for help. Latvia is next. Latvia is so dumb it thinks excluding Russian speakers from government positions based on lack of fluency in Latvian is a really good idea. Latvia is a slow learner, and at some point Putin will give Latvia the intervention treatment, and rightfully so.

  24.  @ryaku5  Kazakstan enjoys very good relations with Russia. Russian speakers and ethnic Russians have equal rights with Kazaks in Kazakstan. Both Kazak and Russian are official languages. Would you agree with Kazakstan's approach, or would you advise Kazakstan to go the Ukraine route, and start introducing restrictions of the use of Russian in Kazakstan?

However, Putin has been in power for decades, and if you see how BRICS leaders, OPEC leaders, African leaders, Latin American leaders all manage to meet successfully with Lavrov and Putin, it would seem that the problem of sitting down and talking with Putin is with bigots like you and Western leaders.

Why let the Wagners operate in Africa if the priority is recreate the USSR? Makes no sense! "Let's occupy this tiny sliver of land called Transnistria, and then do nothing, just look at Moldova year after year after year and wave to Moldova and keep the border open and generally accept Moldova" you have not thought this through. it is total nonsense. Russians are in Transnistria and not in the rest of Moldova because, as always, when the Moldovan government announced plans to derussify the country and have Romanian as the only official language, the ethnic Russians of Transnistria rebelled, rightfully so, and 2000 Russian peacekeepers made sure Moldova made no move to force Transnistria into anything it didn't want to do. end of story. you need to stop believing your own absurd russophobic lies and propaganda. Now, on to Abkhazia. why not occupy all of Georgia? why only occupy two tiny areas where Russian speakers are the majority?

LPR and DPR militias and Chechens have done much of the heavy lifting and front line duties, Wagners plus the convicts (the ones that destroyed Ukraine's finest in Soledar) have done much of the street fighting in Bakhmut area. Nearly all the real Russian forces have been held back for later. Russia takes years to eliminate its opponents, and holds back its main forces. As Putin said, "we haven't started yet". you are so naive.

For example, I perceive that Putin has done a great job at diversifying the Russian economy and developing Russia since the catastrophic years of Yeltsin. Opinion polls show Putin is very popular. Ukraine is NOT getting ENOUGH reliable and powerful weapons. If they were, they wouldn't be panic begging for more! Russia not only has excellent quality weapons, in some areas it has superior weapons, like hypersonic weapons that the West hasn't even put into operation. Again, don't believe the nonsense you hear about Russian inferior weapons. Iran and N Korea are happy to sell their weapons at a great price, so Russia is more than happy to buy. Iranian drones have wreaked havoc on Ukraine. This is an achievement for Russia, not a weakness. Again, if we are to believe the lies from your side, Russia is weak, Russia is poor, Russian morale is low, Russia is poorly led, Russia is poorly equipped, yet a bunch of convicts and mercenaries just routed Ukraine's NATO trained and armed battalions in Soledar, Opidnoye and Klyshcheevka. Klyshchevka, cut off most of Bakhmut, and is currently pushing north into Zaporozhe. Ukraine has captured nothing. oh, how the facts hurt. Deaths - The kill rate is estimated by most reliable sources to be 8:1 in Russia's favor, based on the Ukrainian deaths announced by general Milley and Ursula van der Leyen. Russia has 380,000 reservists poised on the Ukrainian border. Ukraine has teenagers and old men recruits thrown into the meatgrinder of bakhmut. reality is Russia has won. just a question of when Ukraine surrenders.
