The most ridiculous lie and it's hard for me to believe that you are actually for real here. I can pay by card in the smallest village far far away from Moscow, in many places with face ID. I am pretty sure a small village in Russia is more advanced now that a small village in Europe- and I know what I am talking about as I have been to both many times. I remember ofter Crimea came back to Russia, I drove there- and the contrast between Russian side of the ferry and Crimean side was shocking, like you went 50 years back in time. Broken roads, abamndoned buildings etc, very depressing. That;s how Ukraine lives. To run down such a fantastic region like that... what a shame/
