Ukraine became independant in 1991- not violently broken away, but peaceful separation, keeping all the assets USSR created and having no external debt cause Russia took it on itself. In 2014 Ukraine is an independent country, 25 years after separation, just like Yugoslavia- do you want to argue with that? Breaking away Kosovo just because U S wanted so is EXACTLY the same thing as happened in Crimea. Including referendum. Denying it is completely delusional
