@Trattato68 there is an entry there that says that Russia keeps it if it doesn't contradict its own safety. And Ukraine in NATO does exactly that, Russia warned about it on numerous occasions. Plus memorandum says no interfereance with Ukraine soveregnity, and US arranging a coup there directly violated it. Russia of course would not keep an agreement which every other party violated

@Trattato68 you are kidding, right?? Have you ever thought for a second what UN exists for? I quote- to maintain international peace and security. And Russia as a founding member not only had a right but obligation to interfere! Not to mention it was Russian speaking population killed there. Proves that Russia had been trying for a long time to solve this conflict peacefully and shame on UN cause by not doing so they failed their only mission and were part of the reason for today's bloodshed

@kirkpatrick7475 I noticed long time ago you like round numbers. It is never 78 or 6 thousands, always have to be 100 000 or 500 000. You should work better on faking numbers, make them more believable. First, no country ever just let a region go. Look at Spain and Catalonia, look at UK and Ireland. Second, terrorists took over in Chechnya due to weak central government and they were robbing and terrorizing locals so the locals helped fight them- and together we won. Now it is a beautiful blooming region which enjoys great autonomy, keeps its traditions and religion. Great example to others to learn to deal with conflicts

@samuellove9619 Russia is in every respect a legal hier to USSR. For example it paid out the whole external debt of USSR, for Ukraine included. So no/ what you say doesn't make sense. Actually Russia whould have demanded territories back from Ukraine. They should have left with what they came
