Every country does something for a reason, not just cause it's evil, so yes, in our opinion there were strong reasons to do smth. I will only mention Katyn. What was Soviet Union doing there? It is IN Russia, 400 km from Moscow, it is our territory, so what do you mean? The investigation there was done by the Germans in 1942, so of course they said that Soviets were to blame. Do you expect them to blame themselvs? And if you find the results of Nuremberg, they clearly say that Katyn is a crime of Germans
