@dave_sic1365 Russia never had security with NATO. Who is this alliance actually against? USSR is long gone. If it's not a threat why does it keep moving closer? USA would never accept Russian bases in Cuba or anywhere close. In fact when Grenada wanted to be very close friends with USSR in 1983 and made some military contracts, quess who didn't like that and intervened? USA. Same thing happened in 1989 in Panama. How did USA explain that? Was done in USA national security interests! Really? Can't countries decide themselves what alliencies to join?? Blowing up our north stream and not letting us participate in the investigation is illegal. As for Budapest memorandum, you obviously know just the variant told to you by your propaganda. Let me enlighten u. "respect the independence and sovereignty of Ukraine within its existing borders" you say. In 2014 during the coup the American ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt, American senators John McCain and Chris Murphy together with lovely Victoria Nuland (cookies anyone?) were openly supporting the protests against LEGITIMATE president/ That is direct interfirance and gross violation of the memorandum. But even if we ignore that, as the result of that coup either illegal hunta came to power- and we have no obligations for them, or it was a revolution, and then it is a NEW state that we signed no agreements with. No matter how you look at it, that coup changed everything. And to be honest, a memorandum is something just recommending, not legally binding/ You also promised not to expand NATO to the east, not even an inch- and look how well you kept your promise. @fd2824 You lost it, didn't you)) the whole comment is a mess of propaganda slogans. How many civilians died since 24 February? About 7000. 4000 of them on the territory of the Lugansk and Donezk republics. And only 500 of them on the territory controlled by Russia while 3500 on Ukraine controlled. What does it mean? People largely stopped dying under Russian protection. Exactly one of the MO objectives. While Ukraine either is not able to protect civilians or doesn't care and places weapons in towns and villages. So who is the ruthless killer here? The conflict was obviously NOT engineered by Russia, no matter how loud you are trying to tell this lie. Russia was the only country trying to make Minsk work, with meant peace in the region. And many conflicts around Russia are actually the result of American work. They kept pushing all kind of instabilities in ex Soviet countries, creating a conflict circle around Russia to make it bleed out, waste resources, be occupied all the time with putting out those fires. Somewhere it worked worse like in Belarus, somewhere better like Georgia. Ukraine exploded- but they always were good soil for fsts and russophobic ideas. And of course, the facts ARE on my side lol. You gave zero of them btw.

As for WWII it's interesting how you forget it wasn't USSR who came to take Romania, it was Romania who came to us and killed people ON OUR LAND. In Odessa and Stalingrad. Together with HItler. Be grateful you even exist after that as a country. I personally think those territores should have been fully integrated as part of USSR. We had a full right to do that, we WON when you came to kill us. I don't think communism was a bad economic system, it was different. But it's a long discussion I am lazy to write so much. On the contrary they had very favourable trade conditions, they got payment for our gas transfer (and stealing gas from the pipe for their needs), they were doing all right only due to Russia! And they wanted to keep those priviledges, but to enter EU as well. Russia said- nope, you want to go to EU, welcome, but you lose priviledges. That;s only fair but somehow Ukraine didn't get happy about it. So no, that;s just a lie. Ukraine made their own choices, and it was Victoria Nuland there in 2014 handing out cookies and not Lavrov. So it's clear who actually influences Ukraine

First they did everything to stop North stream- cause one of the main reasons why Germany was doing so well was cheap Russian gas. When Germany didn't really bail, US just blew up the pipeline- everyone knows that/ German produces started having trouble and then US offered them no tax policy if they move to US! Bingo! You know, US made a huge mistake of moving all industries to China and other countries some time ago but now they realized it was wrong- and they just took all industries from Germany. Nice. That's how they support their lifestyle, how they treat their allies. You all owe huge money to IMF, they will tell you to jump, and you will jump. You are slaves.
