@KurtFrederiksen thanks, I had a good laugh!
"Russia is a country with traditional values where the majority is very much against those ideas?" Are they or have you even asked them? What traditional values are you talking about? And why should they be better?"
Ask them? Considering I am Russian, i kinda know what's going on in my country. Why are traditional values better? Isn't is obvious? They are called traditional for e reason, they survived the test of time. And- they lead to humanity to live on, while every gay is evolution dead end- or have they learn to produce children somehow?
"I personally was attacked about it in Europe." I very much doubt that, unless you were a tool about voicing you opinion."
you are free to believe or not, but I was attacked on numerous occasions just cause people understood i was russian- I answered the phone for example. Not physically attacked thatnk God, but people came up to be and started shouting how can I live in such a horrible country as Russia where we put all gay in jail. That was long before MO. I was very surprised and said it;s BS. Another time I was told off about the plane crush, numerous times about evil Putin. You are NOT all nice and fluffy. You recently think if someone is Russian, you can be rude or agressive to us, and it;'s OK. You celebrate terrorist attacks in Russia where civilians get killed. You crossed every line of human right and dare lecture me about it. Not even going to discuss the rest of your ridiculous comment

@gothic6662 what bully, what tears... Chechnya has wide autonomy, can make their own local laws, they have their own religion, churches, language, own rules of life and schools. They even prefer to wear their national clothes for everyday which is beautiful/
Why would they want independance now? Independance is a lot of problems if you are small. You need to keep your own army, print money, find funding for social projects etc. There is no "Russian boot", it's your media stories. Yes, it was not always like that, but it is like that now. And although Chechny is a part of my country and I actually went to Grozny in summer which is a very nice city btw, you still think that YOU know better. Sorry, but your personal illusions don't rule reality

@blacklion8208 pfff, it matters very much! The context is the most important thing here. Moscow was trying hard to create anti-Hitler coalition, but GB and Poland (!) did everything to block it. Poland was representing German interests in the Ligue of Nations, they did/t let Soviet troops through to help Chekoslovakia, they were planning to attack USSR together with Germany. Poland occupied part of Chekoslovakia which GB JUST GAVE to Germany- why you never talk about that? And yes, under those conditions, when we understood it's every man for himself, and Poland was hostile and a threat, Moscow had to move the front as far as possible away from our borders.
I never denied Molotov- Ribentrop pact, it objectively existed. But if you mention it, you have to mention Hitler Pilsudsky pact as well, but you never do so

@Rigel_6 Jesus, are you even serious? You are saying it was the same as having German concentration camps where millions were killed? That's an outrageous distortion of the truth.
What do you even mean, occupied? USSR didn't rule them, didn't take their resources or wealth, didn't tax them. Yes, they were required to share ideology, but first they got a lot of perks for that, second, America was doing exactly the same, there were 2 dominating ideologies at that time. There were Soviet troops on some territories, but it was actually done in response to NATO creation, anti- Soviet alliance. You can also say that America occupies many European countries, cause they have NATO troops and America dictates their policy. Does it?

@buck4490 No, I don't know that, and I actually live in Russia.
Pussy Riot lol)) they were arrested for hooliganism when they came to a church and started a punk prayer service insulting the priests and parishioners. A very stupid move to become famous if you ask me, but what on Earth does it have to do with the government?
Navalny is a scum, he is universally despised and has never had any political influence, only in the western press. Only a stupid western viewer would believe he is any threat to Putin. He was charged for his financial fraud, everyone knows this story, and even then he was not put in prison, he was given suspended sentence and he continued with the fraud cause he thought he is above law.. And he was given a second suspended sentence which is AGAINST RUSSIN LAWS, but the authorities were kind to him, too kind in my opinion. He was just asked not to leave the country but they again, he ignored that requirement. What do you do in your country with people who break the law repeatedly?
He is especially hated now for what he tried to do with the children in Moscow and other cities

@Rolf_factchecker-Reborn you better concentrate on your own misunderstanding of the situation. Donating? No. You see lots of things as donation when they are not/
Kyiv will have to return €27.6 billion to Brussels out of the €29.6 billion of direct economic and budgetary assistance from the European Union, which was provided in 2022-2023. This conclusion follows from the European Commission’s statistical document on assistance to Ukraine.
It is noted that in 2022, assistance from the EU budget amounted to €11.6 billion, including €7.2 billion in macro-financial assistance, €2 billion in the form of grants from the European Commission and €2.4 billion in the form of loans from European financial institutions. “The EU has provided an unprecedented aid package to Ukraine of €18 billion in 2023 in the form of highly concessional loans, of which €15 billion have already been transferred (in 2023, money is transferred monthly at €1.5 billion, so Kyiv should still receive € by the end of the year 3 billion for November and December," the document says.
That is, out of €29.6 billion, confirmed gratuitous assistance amounted to €2 billion, or less than 7%

@MathyBoonen bunch of sa vages.
There was a legitimate president in Ukraine, Yanukovich. Pro Russian, anti NATO. Of course that couldn't make U S happy. Did he leave ршы post on his own will? No, he was overthrown. FORCEFULLY.
The classic U S tequnology of colour revolutions was used in Ukraine. Nuland herself said U S ivested 5 bln dollars to change the geopolitical orientation of a of Ukrainian society. 5! Massive anti-Russian propaganda and agitation for joining the EU began across all media channels owned by the west controlled oligarchs. The negative aspects were hushed up (the closure of most enterprises, mass unemployment, reduction of social programs, etc.) and non-existent ones were praised.
At the same time Nuland makes connection with radicals- there are her phone conversations confirming that- and at the right moment they take to the streets. Yanukovych under threat of reprisals leaves Kyiv for Kharkov, where deputies of all levels of the Party of Regions in the southeast were supposed to gather. Less than a day after his departure from the capital, the “domestic terrorists” who seized power announced the “self-removal of Yanukovych” just at the time when he confirmed his competence in a video message from Kharkov and called for dialogue. But then the West was not interested in the legal side of the issue; it unconditionally supported the coup.
In violation of the UN Charter, the Maidan was not only visited, but also foreign “guests” spoke there (high EU officials - K. Ashton, S. Fule, USA - V. Nuland, Ambassador J. Payette, Senators J. McCain and C. Murphy, and also K. Bildt, J. Kaczynski, M. Saakashvili, etc.).
And the most tragic moment- when those beasts burnt Russia supporters ALIVE in Od essa- in the building of trade union. Locked them up and set it on fire. And the shot those who tried to excape through the windows. FORCEFUL enough for you?
So U S arranges certain group of people to come to power, people who serve U S interests, and those people drove out the legitimate presidents with weapons in their hands. COUP

@Martin Bergholtz I explained those so many times, you people have the same talking points again and again, obviously those points were repeated to you again and again. Every country does something for a reason, not just cause it's evil, so yes, in our opinion there were strong reasons to do smth. I will only mention Katyn. What was Soviet Union doing there? It is IN Russia, 400 km from Moscow, it is our territory, so what do you mean? The investigation there was done by the Germans in 1942, so of course they said that Soviets were to blame. Do you expect them to blame themselvs? And if you find the results of Nuremberg, they clearly say that Katyn is a crime of Germans

@Partsnotshown I AM Russian and I live in Russia. But I also lived and worked in Europe for a long time, and in GB. Now I read both your and our press and compare. And I can say with certainty that Russia is way more free- was actually one on the reasons I didn't want to stay in the west, you are overregulated, you can;t take an unsanctioned breath.
What makes you think Russia is not free? Free media? We had A HUGE number of western funded media till a year ago who were talking western propaganda for many years and nothing was done. People were actually displeased, saying- when will those be closed, they are working against our country! Those media was banned only a year ago as a mirror action when our media was banned in the west. Banning our media is not totalitaric from your side?
Opposition in prison? Let's take Navalny for example. The guy is a fraud, everyone knows that, and I don't mean politics, I mean bussiness. He is universally despised, has about 2% support, and when suddenly he becomes the leader of the opposition, we clearly see MI6 ears there. By Russian laws you can have 1 suspended sentence, and if you get the second- you go to prison. Navalny had two, but was still free, the authorities were quite loyal to him, he was just required not to leave the country. He did, and sure enough he was arrested when he came back. Laws are laws for everyone, he should have been in prison long ago.
What else makes you think Russia is not free?

@madtechnocrat9234 France produced thousands of tanks and other eqipment for Wermacht, supplied them with food, fought for nazi army - up to 100 000 soldiers, completely voluntarily! Free France is laughable, at the peak there were about 17 000 partisans, while in Yugoslavia, for example, which is twice smaller, 1 million! Even those 17 th, half of them were Jews, another half run away POWS, including Soviets. Free France is all talk, that's what you do best

@madtechnocrat9234
of course Poland represented German interests in the league of nations, how can you deny an obvious well documented fact?
Poland became the main European lawyer for the aggressors in the League of Nations. Warsaw justified the attack of fascist Italy on Abyssinia (Ethiopia), the Japanese aggression in China and supported the actions of the Nazis in Europe - and the restoration of control over the Rhine region (with its militarization), and the capture of Austria, and the dismemberment of Czechoslovakia. During the Anschluss of Austria, Poland attempted to annex Lithuania. Only the tough stance of the USSR, and the lack of support from England and France on the Lithuanian question, forced the Polish government to retreat. Then two European predators - Germany and Poland, together attacked Czechoslovakia. Poland contributed to the conclusion of the Munich Agreement by denying military assistance to its French ally in protecting another French ally - Czechoslovakia. Also, the Poles refused to let the USSR troops through their territory to help Prague. Then the Poles openly acted as aggressors, taking part in the “Czechoslovak Pie” section. And so on and so on/ Poland fully deserved what it got.
Anyway no point speaking to you, you will keep yelling Russia bad! no matter what I say. No wonder Putin started MO, after years of trying he understood there are no adequate people in the west, nobody to talk to.
Adios

Just facts:
1/ Poland represents Germany in the league of Nations after 1933 when Germany left it
2/ Poland becomes the first european country to sign a pact with Germany in 1934. There is cross evidence there was also secret file there deviding spheres of influence.
3/ Poland participated in tearing apart Czechoslovakia and got Teshin region. Churchill said “Poland, with the greed of a hyena, took part in the robbery and destruction of the Czechoslovak state.” Top politician of that time, maybe he had better undersatnding of the situation?
4/ Poland had very big plans of snatching territories of Soviet Union in Belarus and Ukraine and they were going to do it together with Germany. Huge amount of evidence, just read what Polish diplomats were saying.
The Polish envoy to Iran, Jan Karszo-Sedlewski, in a conversation with a German diplomat in December 1938, stated: “The political prospect for the European East is clear. In a few years, Germany will be at war with the Soviet Union, and Poland will support Germany, voluntarily or forcedly, in this war. It is better for Poland to definitely take the side of Germany before the conflict, since Poland’s territorial interests in the west and Poland’s political goals in the east, especially in Ukraine, can only be ensured through a previously reached Polish-German agreement.”
In December 1938, a report from the intelligence department of the main headquarters of the Polish Army stated: “The dismemberment of Russia lies at the basis of Polish policy in the East...
In January 1939, the Polish Foreign Minister Jozef Beck, in a conversation with German Foreign Minister Joachim von Ribbentrop, stated: “Poland lays claim to Soviet Ukraine and access to the Black Sea.”
Shall I continue?
Only because there was a question of Polish corridor, and the allies got into a coflict over it, those plans didn't come true.
Not to mention that UK and allies made pacts with Germany in 1938 and 1939 and although I haven't heard about any secret files there, they didn't need them to give Hilter Austria and Czechoslovakia. Quite openly/
And after seeing this, hearing POlish claims, after any try to make anti Hilter allience failes, Soviet Union is the LAST to make a pact. And you say straight away, Stalin is ally with Hitler! I fail to understand, how are you blind to anything that happened before? How those obvious double standarts keep together in your head? Pls explain

@sassy6498 yes, they are a small minority now, but that will change very fast, cause it is in the interests of big pharma and they will be pushing this idea with huge budgets. Your children are very prone to this, aren't you worried for them? Absolutely irresponsible. We know for a fact that the number of gay rose immensely since you started promoting LGBT, the same story will be with trans. And don't tell me gay people are born like this- we just don't know. They tried real hard to find the gene of homosexuality but FAILED. So there is zero scientific data proving that people are actually born gay, it's just a theory! And while some small part is surely undoubtly gay from the start, we have no idea what role social factors and upbringing play here. Maybe young people try it cause it's fashion, maybe out of stupidity, maybe they see it as more fun less responsibility. Most probably it's 50/50 nature and society like in many other aspects and yet you are ready to risk your children in this horrible social experiment. \
And it's just a small part of how the west goes crazy. I am not even talking about green energy, eating insects, immigration policy, black matters and all that. I recommend you read how Roman empire fell cause you seem to follow exactly the same path. Western civilization is rapidly entering the period of decline.
That's what we are fighting for, to be left alone. U can go crazy all you want, but we want none of that. Yet you keep coming to our borders, blaming Russia for every sin in the world and demanding we jump off the cliff with you. LEAVE US ALONE. Take your militiry bases and your stinky values and get the hell away from us

@lindyashford7744 You seem to think my opinion of the west comes from propaganda. I spent half of my time in Europe, worked in UK, have been many times to America. And it's not true people hardly gave a thought to Russia, not even remotely true. You don't see it cause you aren't Russian. Yes, I had cases when somebody came to me and told me they love Russia and want to have Putin as their president too. But I also had numerous situations when I was attacked in the most agressive way, and it was long before military operation started. Because of gay rights, because of that plane crash, and certainly because of the Crimea. I was really surprised to learn that Sweden hates Russia and sees it as the main main threat for like.. centuries!! I was surrounded by hostile people who started shouting at me, and it was in Spain, in Camino, which is a pilgrimage way! I was alone, just walking it minding my own bussiness and hardly talking to anyone. Still didn;t help me. So trust me, I know what I am talking about. I see your media- they only push one narrative. If Ukraine does smth bad, they just keep silent, completely. For example I hardly see any news about Kievo-Pecherskaya Lavra- do you know what's going on there, how the authorities are trying to throw out prists from one of the most ancient Russian orthodox churches, arresting them, using force, and how huge crowds gather around trying to stop it?
so pls don't tell me your stories, I have had enough of them

@d.n.8919 I am not sure why you think this longread about you could be interesting, but I found a few moments funny.
You say you are afraid of getting arrested just for being American. Theoretically. While practically Finland wants to confiscate cars and mobile phones of Russians entering the country. Just for being Russian. How do you like that? You are afraid of something hypothetical whole those things are done in reality to Russians.
In general your ideas about Russia are like 30 years old. Russia is by far not only Moscow and Petersburg, I know it for sure as any travelling to Europe was blocked to us, yet again on nationality basis (does that remind you of Jews before WWII?) and we travel around own country now which turned to be really beautiful. I am in Kislovodsk now, try googling pictures, if this info isn't blocked for you cause yeah you live in free democracy with extremally cencored media lol)).
as for medicine, you can't be more wrong. I know really a lot of people who live in Europe but come to Russia for any medical treatment. Free one is AMAZING. Recently I had to go through some operation. It was done in the best institution with great doctors, the wait was 2 weeks and after I was given and individual ward with great food for a week. For free. We have to get medical insurance to get that, but for Russian citizens it is also FREE. So pls don't tell me about horrible medicine, it is just a lie. As for paid medicine it is excellent quality and much cheaper than Europe and America. Again, from personal dental experience. I did it in UK and Spain- and never again, that was terrible and cost me a fortune. Only Russia now.
In general you clearly have zero idea of modern Russia. Which Putin has created basically single handedly, God bless him.
By the way, tell me the names of people who went to prison for just telling their opinion, then we can discuss it

@realsimonwest
You have made joining NATO existential for Ukraine.
No, my dear- YOU made it existential for Ukraine. That’s actually a great example of how NATO works.
They chose the target country well. Ukraine started claiming to be anti Russia pretty much from the beginning of their independence, their politicians made hatred for Russia their national idea. So the US, the leader of NATO, just needed to guide those tendencies. US arranged a coup in 2014 where the government that worked well with Russia was removed and those extremists came to power. At the same time American military wins a tender to build infrastructure to American standards in Sevastopol, where the Russian fleet is located. See, they created a situation where Russia HAD to act, it had no other choice. It reacted not in the way you expected, well that’s another story. Here we go, tension between Ukraine and Russia is created.
Also you are forgetting that after 2014 huge regions of Crimea and Donbass were not in the pools any more- and they were the ones mostly voting against joining NATO.
That’s how it works. The negative image of Russia is created and supported constantly. Russia attacked Georgia! And nobody says Georgia violently attacked its small neighbour and Russia was there to stop bloodshed. And that European Commission later stated Georgia was the aggressor in that conflict. Russia attacked Chechnya! And hardly anyone knows Chechnya is actually part of Russia, where there was terrorist trouble and Moscow has every right to make order in its territory.
So Russia needs to look bad, a lot of resources is invested in it. And the west is real good at creating a needed picture, a narrative, twisting facts. We have never been as good as you at that, I have to admit. So here we go, the countries run to be protected

@CollectiveDefence like I would give a st about your opinion weather we are afiled state or not. You live on borrowed money so maybe you are not the one to label?
As for Poland in 39-41. The losses from fighting Germans were about 200 000, from fight USSR around 3500. Katyn, even IF it was USSR which is argueable cost 21 000 lives. Here you conveniently forget to mention that Poland attacked Soviets in 1920, acted with shocking cruelty, killed thousands of civilians and tortured to death about 19 000 Russian POWS. Al;so confirmed with documents, my dear. Eye for eye, fair enough. But Katyn is questionable, I repeat.
While Volyn is NOT questionable at all. about 100 000 Poles were killed in the most horrible way- wanna see the pics? Who did it? Your lovely Ukrainians, the party OUN whose symbol is on the Ukraine coat of arms now and whose slogan Slava Ukraini you like to repeat so much.
So yes, we also have very good memory, we don't forget. And we don't forgive

@SerBallister you behave like USSR had some kind of a contract, an obligation to save Poland from Hitler, and did not deliver. Are you insane?
It was a war, Soviet troops got stuck on the way with strong German resistance. Poland knew about that, still decided to go on with the uprising- who is here to blame?? We still saved your sorry asses at the cost of many lives of our soldiers, and look how grateful Poland is!
Sure you know about the pact. In my opinion, totally justified after Poland was the first in Europe, in 1938, long before the above mentioned pact, to ally with Hitler, to get a piece of Chehoslovakia and not to let Soviets help. The hyena got what it deserved

@fd2824 international rules have become non-existent as the west completely compromised them. All the 15 000 sanctions against Russia are illegal. Seizing our assets is illegal. Blowing up our north stream and not letting us participate in the investigation is illegal.
As for Budapest memorandum, you obviously know just the variant told to you by your propaganda. Let me enlighten u.
"respect the independence and sovereignty of Ukraine within its existing borders" you say. In 2014 during the coup the American ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt, American senators John McCain and Chris Murphy together with lovely Victoria Nuland (cookies anyone?) were openly supporting the protests against LEGITIMATE president/ That is direct interfirance and gross violation of the memorandum. But even if we ignore that, as the result of that coup either illegal hunta came to power- and we have no obligations for them, or it was a revolution, and then it is a NEW state that we signed no agreements with. No matter how you look at it, that coup changed everything. And to be honest, a memorandum is something just recommending, not legally binding/ You also promised not to expand NATO to the east, not even an inch- and look how well you kept your promise. How do you explain that? Oh, but there was no legal document signed! Ja sure/
So on the whole you have an interesting position- you want Russia to follow every agreemnent but you yourself don't find it nessessary to bother with it. Lovely. The white sahib does what he pleases?
So as you can see, I have done my reasearch. REcomment you to do the same before teaching anybody how they should live

@tonyb1223 Telling a Russian that I have no idea about military logistics, that's rich. Everything you wrote is complete BS. Everyone knew the war was coming, evryone was getting ready, so don't pretend it was a surprise for you and you were like- oops, Hitler? In Poland?? Let's start mobilising! That's the most idiotic version I've ever heard. Cause if it's true, your leaders were just dumb.
Soviet Union was trying to form anti Hilter coalition for years, but you, you Brits avoided it by all means, you just gave him Chekoslovakia! Just like that! And stupid Poland did everything to block that coalition hoping with Hitler help to get our wesren lands. When Hitler attacked Poland, USSR was waiting, till the last moment hoping that either Poland can cope or France and Britain will be good allies and come to rescue. And when none of that happened, Soviet Union had to enter to keep the border away from our territories.
The truth is, you were hoping that Hitler and communists would just destroy each other. Numerous evidence it was exactly like that. That's why you let millions of people die and did NOT participate till closer to the end when it became clear who was winning. Freaking assssholes

@wwondertwin no thanks. We look at your crazy world where you push tolerance and guy rights, me too and BLM, trans shows, gender changing, migrants having more rights than locals, cancel culture, your government banning Russian media and arresting people for support of Russia, government regulating what heater you can or can't have at home, green craze, tough protests in France and how police deal with them, and we say- CAN WE HAVE THE IRON CURTAIN BACK??
