I just go with the defaults, but if they change in the future I may have to really evaluate which I use. However, you've perfectly illustrated another example of why I won't use the SI names for computer storage sizes. It sounded like you were saying tittybytes and that's just so very wrong. I know, people complain that the SI prefixes shouldn't be used for computers because they should have a set meaning, but computers are by their very nature binary devices and have been since they've been digital. So for what it's worth, I don't think we should apply the 1K increment logic to SI prefixes when talking about computers and just use 1024 increments. I will continue for the rest of my life to say kilobyte and mean 1024 bytes and megabyte and mean 1048576 bytes and so on.

@MR-vj8dn Yeah, it's unfortunate that they reject true information because they call it original research, yet keep information up which is patently false because of circular referencing, whereby a journalist will quote something that was randomly added without a citation and then the article will update citations using the article as a primary source.

@MR-vj8dn When you reply, just quickly hit ctrl+a then ctrl+x then ctrl+v, then write your response. I figure this latest anti-feature is because the user ID's are automatically linkified to their profile page and then it's subsequently deleted by a URL filter. I could be wrong, but it sounds like the kind of stupid mistake someone working for YouTube would make. The fact that it doesn't happen every time is just an indication of how heavy the filters are for a given channel and what your "social credit score" with YT is.
