I don't think the issue of privacy really applies here to abortions. Let's try an example. Say you wrap your home in plastic sheeting and then invite someone into your home. You assume that since it's your private property and your house is wrapped in plastic that they'd get the message and stay out without you disinviting them. But they come inside anyway because that plastic doesn't always work. Then let's say you think: "Hey, this is my private home and even though I invited you in, I didn't want you inside and that's why I wrapped my house in plastic!" So without pushing them out of the house, you instead shoot them in the head, with no warning. You did that in the privacy of your own home, so why should anyone get a say, right? But you invited them in and then murdered them because you changed your mind without putting out a sign or shutting the door and locking it. So no, it's not an issue of privacy because people have no such right that supercedes another's right to life. No, in this case it's an issue where people are for convenience sake deciding to unhuman a person because they're not complete enough to live on their own. It doesn't matter to them that they have differentiated DNA from both parents. It doesn't matter that adoption is always an option. They'll come up with excuses and say, "Well the foster care system sucks and they'd have a worse life." or "I can't take care of them". The latter of course with an implied but never stated "if I can't raise them then no one can", whether they articulate that or not, and sometimes the still nonsensical "I'd be sad if I had to give them away so instead I'll murder them". If you think abortion on demand and without apology is a good thing, then you need to think again and realize that you're wrong. I doubt anyone will read this, or this far, but if you do, yes, there are always exceptions, and obviously the life of the mother being in danger is definitely a reason to kill the baby, and if her attempting to give birth would kill both then she should be strongly encouraged to end the pregnancy, and yes if a woman is raped she should have the option but should be gently encouraged to give it up for adoption instead.
