Google Glass was actually a really good idea, but it was overpriced and as a first of its kind AR, didn't see enough adoption. I hope they do bring another one to market, but cheaper.

@slackerbelmont Indeed, and it'd be nice if people just wouldn't record others without their permission, but our laws are not written intelligently. It's expected, with no deep thought on why the opposite would be true, that in a public space you shouldn't expect to have privacy, and many states even have single-party consent laws on audio recordings in private spaces. If they weren't capable of recording then that would be a great feature, but undoubtedly the servers that process the data to enable the more advanced AR features would record it whether you gave permission or not, and not merely for the duration of processing.
