If we really had unfettered access to guns, then everyone that wanted one would have a machine gun. For that matter, no one would have to pass background checks or get any kind of license in any state for any reason. No one would have to pay a tax stamp. No guns of any type, nor accessories, would be off limits. No capacity limits would exist. No suppressor restrictions or any other restrictions. Clearly, we do not have unfettered access to guns in this country, but we should considering that our government has none of those restrictions.

@sveinarnehaugen4851 Sure, and how many knife attacks have you had in your country? How about car attacks? It's not the weapon that is at fault, it's the people.

Do it, buy an AR-15. Just don't go Charles Bronson on them and mete out vigilante justice, because he died in the end. Consider also buying some body armor.

@sveinarnehaugen4851 I've never posed in front of a mirror whether with or without a gun in my entire life. But I see that you didn't even bother to answer my question because you know that I'm right. Violence is the problem, not the implement used to impart said violence, and in countries with strict gun laws, violence is just as bad if not worse.
