@plissken94th57 I think that once a criminal has served their time, they should regain their rights and anything else is unconstitutional. I also think that probation shouldn't be a thing, you're either in need of being in prison to protect society or you're free and clear, there should be no questionable in between status. So if I were a prosecutor and asked to take your case were you caught, I'd try to make sure you got time served for the hours you'd spend in a jail cell. If I were the judge I'd dismiss the case with prejudice. But, as an ordinary citizen, I'd recommend just not getting caught and should the opportunity arise you take a boat trip before being searched and "lose" some things in a boating accident.

@DrQuagmire1 If he signed that particular law, then yeah, but how old is it? The governor that signed it and every other politician in the state that approved of it, definitely. Does every state have its own individual House and Senate? I know mine does, but I have no idea how other states "work", such as they do.

@DrQuagmire1 On that I can agree. I'm just adding on that whoever crafted and signed the law should be punished in some way for their unconstitutional infringement.

@Joe-Slow As long as they have useful security in a federal building, I think I could agree, but not without. However, in jail, always, regardless of anything else, no one in a jail should have a gun. While locked up prisoners have forfeited their rights in that regard by committing a crime.

@kidmosey Completely agreed there, and it'd be awesome if the "AFT" were banned instead.

@jacksmith7726 Indeed. They get leeway, we get run over on the freeway.

@BoreHog What point are you attempting to make?

@Wesley Long Agreed. However, it does state that someone found guilty of a crime forfeits their rights. I don't remember off the top of my head how they limit the interpretation of that, if they do, but I would say in prison, no rights, out of prison, rights restored.

To me, shall not infringe means permits of any kind are an unconstitutional burden. Maybe the law will catch up one day.

@natma relnam Are you drunk? Because you're about as coherent as one.
