Prison time for public officials who knowingly violate the constitution. Definitely needed.

@bobbysixty Maybe, or we'll see how many votes can be printed. Either way, the courts will almost certainly strike these unconstitutional infringements down.

@jnagarya519 It's not based on current law, it's what I want to happen and my prediction for the result. Surely you understand how that works?

@dontbeakaren6145 I'd say it's one third believes it, one third knows it's wrong, and some amount of the remaining third are just plain evil with whatever is left are wishy washy and decide how to vote on a whim.

@jnagarya519 In general, responsibility must be taught. Used to be by the parents. Most abdicated that to the schools decades ago, but the schools instead of teaching responsibility, taught the opposite. At the very least the government could mandate that every kid start taking gun safety courses. Teach them the proper handling of a firearm. Teach them how to aim and accurately hit targets. If they started them off at 16 by the time they graduated they would be quite proficient with a gun and very responsible.

@jnagarya519 I'm not saying they have to own one, just be trained in safe and responsible usage of one. If everyone had that training, we'd be better off as a society because everyone would be more capable of defending themselves. I would of course suggest balancing that out with hand to hand combat training as well. Some sort of martial arts or the like. Just think about it for a few hours, mull it over. If everyone could defend themselves, criminals would think twice about committing any violent crime.
