I got into the habit many years ago of reading the terms of service for everything I pay money for, and you should too. This is why I've never liked Amazon and never wanted anything to do with them. It doesn't help that their Prime membership claims to have no shipping costs, yet the prices for everything that's available through Prime is sufficiently higher than would otherwise be normal as to adjust the cost for shipping, and then some. So if you want to save money by getting the cheapest of a given item and you have Prime, you'll actually pay more for what you're buying while also paying them a yearly fee. Often you can group items and mitigate the cost of shipping, so not having Prime actually can get you cheaper prices. And honestly, if I'm going to buy a book or a movie, I want a physical copy so no one can take it away on a whim because they're a greedy or stupid corporation.
