  1. Simple and easy to understand. I wish this had existed 25-ish years ago when I first learned about pointers. Would have made it so much easier to understand. I'm glad I stuck with it though, because now it's fun to write functions to do single allocations for 2d and 3d pointers and set it up for the user of that function. Well, if anyone actually uses it, but it was fun writing and debugging anyhow.
