  1. Ideally, I'd like to move away from Android and use a Linux OS on my phone, or failing the ability to swap it out, get one of those Linux phones. It'd be great to have a phone where you could physically switch off the camera and microphone to the point that no one could turn them on remotely. Be able to hot spot your phone without paying a fee to get your provider to unlock basic functionality that should be built-in, or by downloading a sketchy app that you can't trust even as far as you could throw your phone using your pinky. I'm sure someone will be along to offer coping solutions, but I don't want to cope, I just want freedom and Google sure as shit ain't providing it.
