@OverbiteGames Is your ID the name of the company you work for? Because if you can't handle installing Linux and using it without problems then I definitely don't want to risk ever running one of your games. I wouldn't be surprised if you use GameMaker to make them anyway.

@dntbther9298 It speaks to his skills as a developer, period. I never even said anything about a game engine. Developing for Linux requires no knowledge of OS internals either.

I don't think Linux will ever see wide scale adoption. Most people are either too lazy or too stupid to handle using it and would rather have all of their data stolen and lose all of their privacy than put in 5 minutes of work reading a man page to learn the correct way to use something. Because of Apple I see desktop PC's dying off entirely and the future for people who want something they can configure will either be doing something with SBC's, old hardware that can't be bought new, or my dream scenario: craft computers where you design and build your own board and possibly even your own chips. Who knows, we might have tiny boxes that could print chips in the future like a 3D printer, but without the 3.
