  1.  @JodyBruchon  It'd be cool though if less websites relied as heavily on javascript. I don't know about you, but I'd love see websites that just used TeX to layout everything and reserve any programming for offline usage. Maybe go back to the separate applet like when java was still used, but with a better language than java.

  2. For about a decade from the early aughts to the early teens I used elinks almost exclusively as my browser. A lot fewer websites back then required javascript to function. If only we could go back.

  3.  @JodyBruchon  Indeed it did, even just attempting to run something offline doesn't work in far too many cases without patching up a lot.
