It actually does not, but that's really not how trademarks work anyway and they couldn't enforce what they're claiming they can.

@effyiex It's literally not. Early access was 2013, while the Rust programming language has existed since 2006, with Mozilla officially sponsoring the project in 2009. And further, Rust, the game, wasn't publicly released until 2018, while Rust, the programming language, had its first stable release in 2015.

@forbiddenera It's probably not enforceable either, but I'd suggest using C. Not C++, but plain ol' C. It's easier to understand, has a much smaller standard library and hundreds of useful libraries are written in it if you need extra functionality without writing it yourself.

Personally, I hate Rust. As an experienced programmer I don't need its false safety constraints and I especially abhor their politics and the majority of the "community" is evil. There are better programming languages that have existed for decades and plenty of programs which don't actually need rewriting just because they weren't written in Rust. I see this move as an absolute good if if goes through because it'll drive many people away from the language and especially kill corporate interest. If you want to know why I'm not subscribed to you, or for that matter why I don't give a like to the majority of your videos that I watch, it's because you promote the mental cancer that is Rust. Of course, you'll never see this and if you do you'll not read past the first sentence, but what do you or I care.

It's not, as this would be a civil matter, not criminal.

Indeed, and now it's made a white, sticky mess on the floor.

No, this is definitely overreach. A programming language maintainer/developer shouldn't even be considering things outside the scope of their programming language. Even some things inside the scope of their language shouldn't be considered, such as where you're allowed to use it, especially in a language which cosplays as being general purpose.

Okay, you definitely get an upvote for this one, using the correct term of emoticons. Also, this was hilarious, especially that final one. That guy was clearly trolling.

Can't forget the movie, assuming it ever comes out.

Ribbed and flavored, for her pleasure. Internal ribbing for yours.

They're scared of guns because it's a challenge to their tyranny.

Learn what is fun, or what will inspire you, or both. If you enjoy learning it, then you'll learn more and better, even if it's a niche subject.

It's videos like this one why I can't subscribe to you on any of your channels. It's pronounced git, not git, and you know it.

@yjlom Perhaps I should have said "Fuked."

It is.
