Exactly. They come up with new words and phrases to label everything, often contrary to the original meaning of words, and think they're geniuses. After all, quiet quitting isn't actually about quitting at all, and with the amount they talk about it, it's not quiet either.

I don't know why kids these days have to come up with terms or phrases to label everything different and/or contrary to what it's always been called. However, if someone shows up to do the job and actually does it well, and puts in 100% effort while at work doing the job, then that's all a boss can and should expect, but if they put in less effort, then it's not doing the job, it's halfassery, and definitely a cause for firing, at least in my book. Being paid for the hours you're at work and no more, that's just fair, and not being pushed to be at work more hours than you're paid for is fair, but actually do the job.

A lot of people don't actually understand inflation. They think you can just put a number into a "calculator" and get what things should cost or whatever. That's not how it works at all. The Federal Reserve printing money is a major factor in inflation, one of the biggest, and it is stealing value from all of us whenever they print more money without taking money out of circulation, but the banks are also driving inflation with their practices. Virtual currency, which has been a thing as long as banks and fiat currency have existed, is a large part of inflation. The truth of the matter is that the only way to drive inflation down is to basically reset things which will cause certain people to lose a lot, and those people are the ones in control and they don't want to lose anything, so it's not going to happen any time soon unless there's a revolt.

@ozAqVvhhNue Sure, deflation can be caused by taking money out of circulation, but they're not going to do that. The people in power maintain more control if inflation is kept artificially high, which it currently is. As for a reset, that would involve a revolt, people fighting back in some capacity. It can't be done using the legal system, so the only choice is civil war. If you don't understand that then you haven't been paying attention. There is no deflating this mess without bloodshed.
