  1. Not that you'd ever admit it, but if you're getting your news from the traditional media sources in the US, then you're imbibing propaganda. Nearly everything they say is a complete and total lie. There is no chaos in the US except for the terrorism from the left. Tariffs are a negotiating tactic, and we will force more companies to manufacture here in the US. Also, it's kind of insane that you would support companies shifting pieces of their products back and forth to manufacture in that way given that you're a leftist douche who believes the climate narrative. So is this just another case of TDS? "Oh no, Trump is tariffin' so we must abandon intelligent manufacturing techniques and support shipping everything in every direction multiple times!!!"

  2. Personally, unless it's programmed by me, I'll never trust one of these "AI" assistants. Speech to text and back again can be performed locally on the device, as can text processing necessary to determine what you're saying and formulate a response. It doesn't require the latest and greatest GPU to utilize every compute unit to give off an appearance of something intelligent. It does require better programmers, so there's only a handful of people that could accomplish it, and I don't think any of them want it.

  3. Personally, I'm hoping that our congresscritters are inspired by what the EU keeps doing and our government actually tries to preserve capitalism by breaking up monopolies and preventing monopolistic behavior.

  4. If I could repurpose one of those Duo's as an actual computer and install Linux on it, then I'd buy one now, but they probably lock it down and prevent that kind of thing.
