You're quite possibly the most entertaining storyteller there is.

The mini stories you tell are works of poetry. I don't know how long it takes you to write each episode, but it's gold.

The third element that allowed him to live through it was the high pressure. Not only would the higher amount of oxygen he'd been living with be a factor, but the higher pressure would cause his tissues to be further saturated over and above the higher concentration of oxygen, and would make his body retain it better, as in it would stay absorbed until he used it.

I don't know how long these take to make, but each one is gold. Effort well spent I'd say, because it's both entertaining and educational.

@takotako808 Indeed, far too many don't even try because they've given up before they've even started. So definite respect for the guy that tried 31 minutes later.
30
Even though Nova already covered this event in their episode on volcanoes, your take was definitely better and worth the watch.
23
I knew exactly what this was going to be about, but you said several things I'd never heard before. It's hard to believe it's been 30 years since he died. I never knew him yet somehow this story still makes me sad.
19
Kind of sounds like you're blaming Christianity for that, if you're even telling the truth.
18
@frankintegrity7996 You're the great great great grandson of Hopkins? Or were you assuming my gender and/or species? Either way, I see a lot of people blaming Christianity for the way zealous idiots "practice" it when they should be blaming the zealots.
14
@gnarthdarkanen7464 Being allergic to exploding yourself is a great allergy to have, as is being allergic to anything MicroSoft.

6 hours later you realize why it was sitting in the open, the people who should have put it in the vault were lazy.

@seraz_hokushin Next time you get an episode, try leaving the room while out of your body. I have a theory about it that it may actually be an out of body experience, as in you may have disconnected from your body. If you can leave the room and visit other places, it may just be a first step towards something more. Imagine if we could all achieve a non-corporeal state of being and live entirely as "spirits", for lack of a better word.

These videos are great. No one tells a story quite like you.

I love the subtle nod with the Bond song lyrics. Hopefully the people responsible for ignoring information and allowing Pearl Harbor and 9/11 to happen are or will be rotting in hell.
7
@Mvgical Why not the editor and the writer both? But ultimately, he's the on-camera talent so he gets more of the credit.
5
@chiefdenis Agreed, that was another great movie. We need more of those these days.
4
More people need to understand that just printing money causes inflation. It's not the only thing, but it is pretty high up on the list. If only people in this country would understand that instead of cheering it on and wishing for more.
4
This is probably your funniest one yet. Puns, rhymes, dad jokes.
4
@SuperMichelleDJ Ditto, they're all scams as far as I can tell.
3
I'd prefer to think he just went native and lived out the rest of his live on that island. Maybe met a beautiful island gal and had kids.
3
@JLneonhug I was with you up until the anti-capitalism indoctrination. There's a reason why socialism and communism will never succeed and that's freedom. If you want to live in a world where people aren't free, just say so.
3
No matter how often I hear it, as many years later as I've been watching him, it still sounds like 42.
3
Makes me wonder if burning hydrogen gas emits any radio waves.
2
@RubenKelevra That's not the first time I've heard that suggestion, but I still haven't seen any videos. I guess I'll have to check it out.
2
Eventually they'll figure out that during that time period another intelligent species rose up, created a technologically advanced civilization and then in the blink of an eye vanished off the face of the Earth like a fart in the wind.
2
@Sniperboy5551 Next time you get it, try to move outside of the room without going back into your body.
2
@DuckNamedFred Agreed. I've liked everything they've done.
2
I saw that movie, and it was pretty good despite the main character dying in the end. Although you've given me a good idea for a movie: Coca-dile!
2
@LiliumCruorem I have no idea why you're directing that at me. Perhaps a reading comprehension problem, but most Christians aren't idiots, but the people attacking them sure are.
2
@galenicalhoover6508 If you have it happen to you, give it a shot, but also, can you force yourself to have an episode? If so, how?
2
This has got to be your scariest video yet. You'd think after all this time they'd go back and dig it up, and either way I sure hope they have someone monitoring that field 24/7/365, though I think we all know they don't. Humanity is doomed.
2
@dale116dot7 It going off on its own isn't something I'm worried about because if it were going to it would've already. But he also said that they recovered a portion of its detonating core already back then. The thing I'm worried about is some foreign agent embedded in country digging it up and building a suitcase nuke with it, or just as bad a dirty bomb. It's not as though hiding the radiation is terribly difficult if you have access to an underground bunker, and it's not like we had ubiquitous radiation detectors for the majority of the intervening decades. You also don't need a whole lot of expertise to weaponize preexisting refined radioactive material. Especially if it's just as a dirty bomb. The scariest bit would be that they wouldn't need to attempt to sneak it in if it's here already.

I think the reason why most people admire con men erroneously, is because they are partly evil and partly due to the Dunning-Kruger effect of thinking they could never be conned themselves and thus a person who cons those they deem to be less intelligent is something to be admired. It's proof that our society is going down the toilet and that civilization will soon collapse.

That was an interesting video, 42.
1
Was this inspired by that new show, Silo? It's certainly making me want to watch it.

All I can do to help is like, comment and watch the ads.

Yeah, cars have gotten safer, for the most part. But the least safe part of the car, the driver, can't be eliminated and if there ever comes a day when they are, we'll all be doomed because corporations will control us and our ability to travel where we want.

This will sound weird, but I've been enamored with the albatross since seeing the Rescuers Down Under. I looked them up in the encyclopedias at the time, since the internet wasn't really a thing at that point, at least not for most people. Birds in general are cool, especially ones like the albatross and eagles.
1
I for one will not be using the baby talk name and instead just call it what it is, savory.

It would seem that the theory of evolution evolves to counter all criticism. It doesn't matter how outlandish the theory, some people just won't give it up and just readjust whenever proof that it's false shows up. Yeah, they didn't change because if it's not broken, then don't fix it. That's not how evolution is supposed to work, but whatever, change the theory until opposition dies.

If bees disappear it's not like we couldn't get out there with a tiny brush and pollinate flowers ourselves, but micro-drones that fit in the palm of your hand already exist and could be controlled remotely by a program, even a whole fleet of them, outfitted with tiny brushes would work. It's not like we need a nano-drone to do the job. Also, with asymmetrical rotor blades they can be made much quieter and thus there'd be no intrusive noises in the garden. Base station could be powered by a solar panel or two and recharge the batteries in the micro-drones. We already have all the technology we could possibly need to get it done.

If such a civilization developed before fossil fuels were available, then they could've used alcohol from fermented fruit as a fuel source and that would be significantly more prevalent as a source since it's 100% renewable. If they developed larger brains, which I can't imagine they wouldn't considering the intelligence level of your average human, then they could have developed science far beyond modern day science and flown off into space. Lizard people? I highly doubt it, although I suppose that depends on what you call a lizard. Warm-blooded dinosaurs weren't lizards, but many people think they were and I would at least assume it's possible that a species of velociraptors could have developed enough intelligence and disappeared from the planet.
1
@jamesmoriarty3877 That's what those on the left always do. They lie and claim their enemies are doing that which they are guilty of. They also like to twist language to prevent people from truly understanding what's happening.
1
Weird, from the very start I thought you were going to talk about him then just ignored him until the end. I definitely think he's a good suspect. If only we could time travel to find out for sure. And for sure, humans are the biggest threat to humans. People should be scared given that the FBI estimates that there may be 2 serial killers active at any given time in every state.
1
@sbtig9637 Can you force yourself to get it, and if so how?
1
I love how you come from the land where the system was invented and then dare ask Americans what it means. As if you don't already know. :))
1
Well, you've got your like and comment. Hopefully you see it and it really does put a smile on your face.
1
Just imagine how much worse the world would be right now if westerners hadn't come to like tea.
1
@oneadamtwelve86 No, there are not. There are millions and millions of idiots that like to ascribe misdeeds of a few on an entire group, and Christianity is the current scapegoat for evil pieces of shit that are the exact kind of people that persecuted people during the witch trials. Don't be a leftist and push blame on those that don't deserve it.

I was all set to say one thing, then someone pointed out that you could read Kaczynski's manifesto online, so I thought it only fair to at least start reading it. Now I'm thinking that he may have been right about everything. A lot of the conclusions he appears to have reached are some of the same ones I came to many years ago when I was but a wee child. He's absolutely right that leftism is destroying our society and we should do something to root it out. All these years, everything I've heard in the media was garbage about him being a Luddite and maybe by the time I've finished reading the manifesto maybe I'll come to that conclusion as well, but that would be only one aspect of a person, not their whole being, if it's even true in his case. It almost seems like the media picked the one thing that they could use to smear him to the general public and forget anything sensible that he had to say. Which would actually be the media proving that they're as evil as he thinks they are.
