@yramagicman675 Absolutely, the censorship is out of control and completely inaccurate anyway. This is one of the reasons I don't like PDF's and yet the government forces their usage and often with features that were only introduced to shut out users that aren't on Windows. I miss DejaVu files. Had a document in that format once that was over 1000 pages and it scrolled as smooth as butter on a garbage computer.

I wouldn't be surprised if the employee in question opened it at work because he didn't care if anything happened to the computers there. Might be an indication of something wrong at that company in the first place, let alone their lax security in general.

@Soulskinner Okay, but what if you don't know LaTeX and you need to do layout with pictures? What if you're older and unwilling to learn it, like say my parents?

Nope, just the leftist portion of it.

@yramagicman675 No LibreOffice or Calligra or anything like that?

@fred-youtube Depends on if it runs any embedded scripts. I couldn't find any options to control that, so it likely doesn't and is thus safe, but I wouldn't count on that as it is a KDE app. They may have thought the user doesn't need to control it and just automatically run things. I'd say only open PDF's from trusted sources either way.

The scammers stole 540 million in crypto. So they got nothing then. Ha!
