  2. That would be the best method, since it can't actually encapsulate the web "app" using this method.

  3. If you really want to archive a website, use wget. It has about a million options for doing so, but it's the best method. And if you make a bash script to use wget with options you like, then it'll be easy each time you do it.

  6. Not that you'll see this, but unless your shell is drastically different from bash, you don't need to quote regular URL's. If it has & in it then sure, quote away, but if there's just one you might \escape it instead.
