Personally, I haven't encountered any such people in over a decade. So I think this video may be outdated from the start. If we're talking about toxic community, I've noticed that in regards to various tools and programming languages, and on occasion with DE's, but not in general with the whole Linux community. Also, the toxicity that I've noticed in the various sub-communities tends to be that of denigrating their competition even when it's better. There are also a few people that have toxic positivity with regards to things in general, like the crowd that claim "programming languages are tools". Sure, certain languages can be better suited to certain domains, but some are just fundamentally broken. Surely no one would suggest there's a domain for Malbolge unless you just want to claim the domain of griefing the users. Pretty much the same goes for Rust. It's a garbage language and its community is beyond toxic. Sure, it's not the same as Malbolge, because you can actually write useful programs with it, but you can do that with LISP too, and no one should use it either.
