It kind of looks like that one app is just using publicly available data and charging a subscription fee for it.

615k subs, yet only 9.8k views and an even more paltry 570 likes with an absolutely abysmal 34 comments. I looked through your catalog and discovered I'd bookmarked your videos page and had even watched multiple videos of yours, yet strangely, I couldn't remember any of them or you. I think part of it is definitely your thumbnails which don't really draw a person in, but something about your cadence just doesn't work either. It might be that you speak too softly. Of course, you should also consider doing more programming in your videos. With a channel name like "Coding with Lewis", I would expect there to be more coding. It sounds like your main area would be web development, so why not show what web tech can do and make a Doom clone that runs in the browser and makes use of a controller if the user has one connected. I've seen a few web games that made use of controllers, but not nearly enough. These are just my suggestions and you can feel free to ignore them, everyone else does.

@CodingWithLewis Tutorials are always good, but not for the basics. There's far too much content that you'd have to compete with on the basics. Recreating old games will draw people in, and simplifying complex subjects will get loads of views. If you can combine the two, like showing how to understand a concept using a game.

Banks are government backed monopolies. It'd be great if after civilization collapses, assuming there are enough humans to rebuild it, that we could not recreate that system.
