I think it's a perfectly valid test as it eliminates a swath of variables to make the testing consistent. Obviously if you're a nonce running 80 tabs of Chrome at the same time you'll need more RAM, but that's newbie level duh-ery.

YouTube is currently restricting me to 360p, so I couldn't even see it. You could have just said it was an alligator eating the number and I would've said yep.

Not that anyone will read this, but if it's a physical item with a physical feature, and they're just locking you out to control you, then it is absolutely wrong and should be illegal. If they want to charge luxury prices for luxury items then they need to not include it in the product that isn't deemed luxury. If they want to save money then they don't actually want to make a luxury product. I don't give a fuck if they save money by consolidating their manufacturing, but if they're going to do that then every physical feature must be available for everyone that buys that product. To do business any other way is evil.

Simple and sturdy. Only thing it needs is a dark mode and that case would be perfect.

Poor Nick. And I want that tablet that Jake was holding. World's largest tablet.

Has Linus been watching Demolition Ranch and decided he wanted a fire truck to put out his shenanigan started fires?

And I thought the 75$ that one company wanted for assembly was a lot, 150$ is insane. Just think, that's what a burger flipper will get for working 10 hours. This is why everyone needs to learn to do things for themselves. Labor costs far too much these days and you get so little value. Too few take pride in their job anymore.

@faaaaq Amazingly wrong perspective. People like you are the real reason we have such an awful world. You just go along with the greedy things that corporations are doing and you're probably one of those ldlots that decries capitalism as being at fault at the same time. If people weren't so Iazy and would just learn instead of accept injustices being perpetrated, then we might actually have a better world. Learn to do it yourself or be a "Sean Carey".

I'm not a plumber, but even I'm cringing at how sketchy those fittings are. Plastic exposed to sunlight is a really bad idea. I hope you go back and redo it later with some insulated copper tubes and solder them together instead of using pressure fittings. However, the idea itself is sound, even if not the execution, and I find myself wondering if there are any data centers that use this method to cool their server racks. I'm sure there must be multiple, but I've never heard anyone talk about such a thing.

The question I want answered is how the heII did he click that prompt blindly? Also, we need better tech for solutions like this, the various companies just don't do good enough.

Awesome case, but what was on Colin's shirt that you guys blurred it out?

I hear all the complaints, but honestly, I disregard them all. I used to play a lot of games that ran at only 30fps, and still do from time to time. Most of my games run at 60fps, and that's like HD and often SD resolutions. While I can tell the difference between them all, I just don't care. Gaming at 720p is perfectly fine and as much as I've ever needed, even on a big 40" TV. I'm sure there are plenty who find that intolerable, but I grew up in the 80's.

@MrNicePotato Sure, and you can choose to do that, doesn't negate the value of the test. Especially for low spec gamers.

@sebastian_j It is a perfectly valid test. You may not care about others, but people with limited means deserve to have free time too, and they are exactly the type of gamers that such a test would be applicable to. If you have a crappy machine, you are going to know what it can handle and not stress it by having things open in the background.

These episodes are the best. I hope Linus moves every year and takes months to do so. To the editors, I definitely appreciate the credits. Fluff-man is the awesome.

Why would anyone have a problem with a PCizza oven? It's like an EZ Bake Oven, only it has the potential to work so much faster depending on which game you play. Your favorite game would become the benchmark real quick.
