  1. I personally detest minimalism. I don't want to lose features just for the sake of some weird design goal, but that's always what happens. For instance, most cell phones are just a solid brick with two or three buttons at most. I want the tactile feel of a keyboard, not a flat piece of glass so I can play make believe like a child.

  3. The fun of fishing is sitting in contemplative silence for hours at a time being away from the wife and kids. If you're catching fish and you don't need them to live, then you're doing it wrong. If you need to fish to live, then you have more problems to contemplate and need the long absences of sound more.
