  1. That article is ridiculous. They say they only identify the 17yo by her first name, but then print the full name of her father. So unless her surname is different from that of her father, which these days is all too common, they'd have to be a complete moroff to write that. Of course, given that it seems as though that girl has been taught some values she probably does share her father's surname. Journalism at its finest.

  2. I disagree with one point you made, where you say someone with a gun shouldn't be approaching a school. I think it makes perfect sense as all the students are arriving, they'd be armed to protect themselves should a school shooter show up. They could have gun lockers in each class, the teachers CC'ing, students bringing guns from home for Gun Safety & Training 101. It would be a beautiful sight IMO.
