  1. This was a sad story with an unhappy end. I was hoping you'd have found him and gotten him to change his mind. Personally, I think renting a home should be illegal. When you live somewhere you should be able to own it. But there are a lot of people that think it allows them to afford a place to live, completely disregarding how much they pay in rent and if they live there for long enough, how much gets wasted because they're still paying for something they should already own. It doesn't help that the developers and landlords are all super greedy and raising their prices on a product that is not only not improved from how it was before but actually reduced in quality. As for the woman you helped out, who may or may not get to stay in her apartment, I like her name. Sounds like the perfect name for a small English village's postmaster. If you told me she had a couple of seamstresses for neighbors named Ruby and Pearl I'd believe it.
